New GS CMOS Image Sensors
On Semiconductor showcased the Global Shutter XGS 12000 and XGS 8000 CMOS image sensors, the first devices in the X-Class platform which allows one camera to scale not only for resolution and speed grades but for pixel functionality as well.

The XGS 12000 is a 12.6MP (4.096×3072) CMOS image sensor in 1″ optical format, supporting up to 90fps Treadout at full resolution. The XGS 8000 is a 8.8MP (4.096×2160) 4k/UHD resolution Global Shutter CMOS image sensor in 1/1.1″ optical format, supporting up to 120fps readout at full resolution.
