The color and multispectral cameras deliver images at a maximum line rate of 300kHz aggregate line rate in 8K/16K resolutions using the next generation CLHS fiber-optic interface. The new interface takes advantage of lower system cost fiber for long distance applications, and provides better sensitivity, higher line rates, as well as immunity to electromagnetic interference. Further key features are mono/HDR imaging with single or dual outputs, time division multi-field imaging in a single scan, three native colors, RGB plus optional NIR, a horizontal parallax correction and sub-pixel spatial correction. The Linea ML features multispectral and multifield imaging – giving the option to inspect objects at various wavelengths or to inspect objects using different angles of light to enhance contrasts. The multispectral models include the ability to capture RGB and NIR images in a single scan. Multifield allows to capture both brightfield and darkfield images simultaneously in one scan- making it perfect for detecting any scratches or cracks. Additionally, the line scan cameras have been applied to inspect high-speed train safety. The vision systems were placed between the rails of train tracks to capture images of the undercarriage of trains moving at 300kmh to identify any problem of loose or damaged parts. Sequential exposure enables customers to use the camera with pulsed LED technology to achieve multispectral or multifield imaging in time domain. This provides great flexibility in using various lighting configurations (wavelength or angle of incidence) to improve the contrast of images. The cameras come with the image acquisition and control SDK Sapera LT v8.0 which includes the Trigger-to-Image Reliability tool for system monitoring. When combined with the Xtium2 series of high-performance frame grabbers, the cameras will deliver improved detectability. The grabber series features the PCI Express Gen 3 x8 platform to deliver high throughput data transfer. The series starts off with the Xtium2-CLHS FX8 and Xtium2-CLHS PX8 models featuring CLHS interface, and will support other interfaces including CoaXPress 12 and Camera Link.
