Ximeas xiX cameras with Thunderbolt 3 interface are equipped with the Sony IMX531 image sensor. The camera delivers 20.3MP at 110fps in full 10-bit color resolution (4,512×4,512 pixels). A Thunderbolt 3 adapter converts the camera’s stream into Thunderbolt data, which is then transmitted over a single USB-C cable to the host machine. This streamlined setup allows users to use a Thunderbolt docking station to power all components. One of Thunderbolt’s standout features is its hot-plug capability, enabling users to connect and disconnect devices without interrupting the workflow. The system automatically re-enumerates, so the camera is ready to go without any delays.
