Liquid Lenses

Optotune’s liquid lenses have demonstrated their value in industrial automation by en-abling variable working distances. An increasing number of fully integrated electrical lens modules (ELMs) are available both for fixed-focus and telecentric applications, and S-mount modules will be available soon. The standardization in GenICam and successful integration of ELMs by leading camera brands have paved the way for broader adoption across additional camera models, benefitting end-users with simplified integration and reduced system costs. Leveraging its deep technological expertise, Optotune continues to optimize lens design and materials to further lower costs in upcoming products. From an application standpoint, Optotune is also expanding beyond the visible spectrum. Hyper- and multispectral imaging is gaining increasing importance in inspection and quality control systems, and we are actively addressing this growing demand.
