Vision controller for wide temperature system operation

100% GPU Loading

Controller with Vision-Specific I/O and GPU-Computing

Through a patented cassette and ventilation hole technologies the vision controller Nuvis-5306RT integrates all functions for embedded vision applications in a compact footprint to connect and control all vision devices. The thermal design can help to dissipate the heat by GPU effectively and make the compact systems capable operating reliably from -25 to 60°C with 100% GPU loading.

The vision controller integrates many functions for machine vision applications in a compact footprint, including high computing power, built-in camera interfaces and real-time vision-specific I/O control. To ensure high quality images, a machine vision system requires accurate interaction between lighting, camera, actuator and sensor devices. The Nuvis-5306RT integrates LED lighting controller (up to 2A, constant current mode), camera trigger, quadrature encoder input, PWM output and digital I/O, to connect and control all the vision devices. All the vision-specific I/O are managed by a patented MCU-based architecture and DTIO/NuMCU firmware to guarantees microsecond-scale real-time I/O control. Computing power is another crucial requirement for a vision system. In addition to the performance brought by its Intel 6th Gen Intel Skylake Core i7/i5 CPU up to 32GB DDR4 the controller can further accommodate nVidia GeForce GTX 950/1050 GPU to leverage CPU-accelerated vision library or deep-learning vision software. Combining built-in 4x 802.3at PoE+, 2x GigE and 4x USB 3.0 interfaces and the expandability for CameraLink, CoaXPress or 10G Ethernet, the controller is the ideal platform for demanding vision applications like inspection systems, GPU-accelerated computer vision or deep-learning image analysis. The patented thermal design of the ventilation hole for graphic card allows -25 to 60°C wide temperature system operations. Product release will be at the first quarter of 2017.
