Are there any industries already where these new data analytics drive systems are more widely used?

Mann: More and more people ask for it dedicatedly. They come to our trade show booths, they see the metrology devices and then it quickly becomes a discussion about downstream processes and how to best utilize the power of this data.

Modrich: Everybody is talking about predictive maintenance and other maintenance tasks that can be done over the connected ecosystems. That gives them huge possibilities not only in the maintenance area. The digital world really helps the customer to get the full power out of their investments.

Nahum: Each industry is a little different, each manufacturer in each industry is a little different. But generally customers in aerospace, semiconductor and medical are probably the ones that are moving the fastest towards digitalization. Especially automotive is now retooling to EV’s so I would expect they study and analyze these new systems. That’s a great opportunity for them I think.
