How did you start your business and what do you want to achieve with your company?

AI4IV was founded in 2021 by a team combining decades of experience in electronics, AI and international high-tech markets. We started from a simple observation: conventional cameras remain far less adaptable and efficient than biological vision. Our goal is to give machines reliable, low-power sight in the uncontrolled real world, ultimately combining bio-inspired sensing and on-sensor intelligence in a single silicon platform for Physical AI.

To which question will your product be the answer?

How can autonomous machines see reliably when lighting changes abruptly, scenes contain both deep shadows and glare, or objects move rapidly? FlyEye is our answer. Its self-adapting photoreceptors capture information-rich images with extremely high dynamic range in a single shot, avoiding the motion artefacts of multi-exposure HDR and reducing the latency, power consumption and complexity associated with conventional image-sensor and ISP pipelines.

What makes your company unique?

AI4IV combines a bio-inspired vision sensor with proprietary on-sensor AI. In FlyEye, each photoreceptor adapts locally to incoming light, preserving details across extreme brightness differences in one exposure, without conventional HDR fusion. Our Tensputer architecture is designed to process the resulting data directly at the sensor. This eye-and-brain approach enables compact, low-power vision for robotics, mobility, industrial automation and other Physical AI applications.
