What was the idea that initiated the foundation of your company?
The idea of founding Robovis came from deep knowledge and industrial experiences of Okan Agbuga in machine vision and robotic technologies.

In discussions with top-tier automotive manufacturers, he noticed that many of the machine vision companies have difficulties during the installation periods due to insufficient knowledge and experiences in robotics. Because of this, manufacturers often have to work either with more than one supplier or extend the installation period to fulfill their inspection and automation requirements. That is why we decided to start with a new company concept. Robovis works very closely with robotic companies and offers advanced vision technologies as a smart extension of the robot.
What is the question your product/technology is the answer for?
PMS (Process Monitoring System) our software platform is a smart framework interface with embedded deep learning algorithms. It can be used in all automation applications where 2D/3D intelligent surface inspection, measurement and 100 percent exact defect characterization is required. Our products can be used in all industries to fulfill complete automation and inline automatic quality control with very high precision.
