The EAC-5000 is based on the Nvidia Jetson AGX Orin platform that features an Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU delivering up to 275 TOPS of AI performance and integrates an advanced Nvidia A architecture GPU with 64 Tensor Cores. It’s capable of delivering server-class performance for edge AI applications. „The EAC-5000 provides high-computing AI with up to 8x performance faster than Nvidia Jetson AGX Xavier, enabling faster and more energy-efficient performance for machine vision and automotive applications,“ said Esther Han, Product Manager, Embedded Systems & Platform Division at Vecow. „Furthermore, it supports device monitoring and management services by Allxon, bringing powerful out-of-band management and disaster-recovery services onto edge AI devices at remote locations 24/7.“

By utilizing GMSL2 cameras featuring FAKRA-Z connectors and a PCIe x8 slot for flexible PoE+ or USB3 expansion configurations, the the embedded PC provides the ideal solution for real-time and intelligent video analytics. Furthermore, it is equipped with rich I/O interfaces, including 2x GigE LAN with an optional choice of X-coded M12 connector, 5x USB, 2x COM, 2x Isolated CAN, and 2x SIM card sockets. It also supports six antennas for industrial-grade connectivity by m.2 Key E and Key B, allowing for multiple 5G/4G/LTE/WiFi/BT/GPS communications. „We are excited to expand our product portfolio powered by the Nvidia Jetson platform to our partners,“ said Joseph Huang, Sales Manager, Sales & Marketing Division at Vecow. „With the increased demand for more and high-quality image processing in AI-enabled video analysis applications such as in-vehicle computing and autonomous mobile robots, EAC-5000 is Vecow’s most powerful and energy-efficient edge AI computing system powered by the Nvidia Jetson platform.“ With support for 9V to 50V wide range DC power input, operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C, as well as software ignition control.
